This is a nice looking larger sized Antique late 19th century Victorian era spelter Metal Mantel Statue featuring a Greek philosopher. At one time there was most likely a tablet in his hand which now is missing as well as his thumb. He has a cracked pointer finger and a firm holding hairline near his wrist. Overall the statue is holding firm and is mounted on a wooden base with bolts that stick through to the other side as the bun feet are no longer present on the wooden base. Signed on the front of the statue. Overall a nice looking late 19thC Antique painted spelter Metal Statue featuring a large size. Overall size 14 inches X 15 1/2 inches
