I sell antiques that were generally made well over 100 years ago by human hands. I try to find the best of the best. The best gilding and decorating, rare and interesting art glass, genuine work (no reproductions here folks!), pieces that will make you proud to display in your collection. Production techniques and quality control were not controlled by robots in modernized factories and as such may have normal production characteristics such as air bubbles, pits, embedded ash or other substances, etc. I generally try to call attention to anything major, so please review the description, and consider all photos as part of the description. These items may have had some gentle usage throughout their life, and as such may have areas of wear to gold gilding, or other use related signs. Anything major (scratches, major wear, etc) will be called out in the description.
